Deadline is May 1, 2020 The Off-Campus Physical Education (OCPE) Program permits students in grades 6-12 to earn credits that meet the District and State Physical Education requirements. The student may receive 1/2 credit of Physical Education per semester for a maximum of one (1.0) credit per year. Middle school students (Grades 6-8) may only qualify as Category 1 with a minimum of 15 hours per school week at a district-approved agency. Please visit https://athletics.roundrockisd.org/off-campus-physical-education/ for more information. The Aligned Round Rock Curriculum (ARRC) anchors all of teaching and learning in Round Rock ISD . To maintain the impact of instruction for the 2019-2020 school year, Round Rock ISD utilized the ARRC to develop the following resources to support students and families between March 23 and April 3 while the district is closed. These resources were designed and selected to keep students actively engaged in grade level content with minimal dependency on online resources. The activities were also designed to offer students, parents, and caregivers choice and flexibility. Students are encouraged to engage with core content activities daily. All activities are optional and will not be collected or graded. Home Learning Hub Site Creating a Student Home Access Account 1. Go online to www.roundrockisd.org 2. Click on the Home Access Center link in the upper left of page. 3. Click on the Home Access Center Login in center of page. 4. Look for the last line, CLICK HERE TO REGISTER FOR HAC 5. On the registration screen, enter the required information. Use your (the student) legal name (EX. Madison instead of Maddie) Include city and zip code Click Register (Student needs to know city and zip code before they start to register) 6. Input a Username. (Make sure you use something easy to remember) 7. You will be asked to add 2 security questions (Reminder to make them easy, so you can answer them (even years later) in case you forget your password) 8. Once you have done this click on the tab and it will tell you an email with your password will be sent. Reminder: You will get the password in your school email. DO NOT CHANGE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS. IT WILL ALWAYS BE YOUR STUDENT EMAIL ADDRESS. 9. Once you have received the email with your password you can log into HAC and look at grades and attendance. 10. If you want to change your password, point to your name in the upper right hand corner. Click My Account Input your old password and add your new password Remember to write your username and password New password must have 8 characters, letters, numbers or symbols. This is a special recognition as it is voted on by fellow teachers. This year marks Mr. Goins’ 19th year at Hopewell and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have him. Not only does he lead the 6th grade World Cultures team, but he is also our Second Step coordinator, formatting our weekly lesson in an easy to use PowerPoint for all the teachers to share with their students. Mr. Goins is the epitome of what a teacher leader should be for their colleagues. He always has a watchful eye over our students, staff, and campus and has earned the respect of everyone interacts with. He takes time to teach our students about respect and kindness and often has discussions with students about the consequences of their actions on others and the importance of supporting each other. Please join me in congratulating Mr. Goins for a job well done!
